Legal Compliance & Privacy Policy

James E Smith LCC is a law-abiding company and do not implement back-doors or features in their software, that allows them or third-parties to spy on user activities. It is legal to implement telecommunication systems that encrypt users data end-to-end with the service provider not being able to decrypt it. The implemented protocols aren’t hidden. Anyone can prove the authenticity of the systems using basic processes described in their documentation.

Today organized crime is extremely active. To protect your business from these kind of activities we advise companies to create data security protocols that keep their employees out of harms way. There are processes that decentralizes the access to keys used to expose the readable information in encrypted files. Decentralization of access significantly diminishes the possibility of one particular person being targeted for data extraction. In addition to this we encourage more strategic encryption/decryption protocols.

We know that some people will use our systems and/or services for illegal activities. We try to block this kind activity by asking questions and doing background checks. Opensource databases may be used to research people and companies we work with. World-Check APIs and other data tools may be employed from time to time to obtain some idea of the social status of our customers. It’s important to be completely transparent when answering our questions. Being transparent allows us to understand your needs better. Misinterpretation of our client’s business activities could lead to complete termination or denial of the products and/or services we provide.

At no time will James E Smith LLC give the very small amount of information we have on our clients to any third-party without legal authorization. Please don’t put us in difficult situations by using our systems for immoral activities. If anyone request information on our clients we do our best to maintain their privacy. Finding out that our client(s) are involved in immoral activity after attempting to defend their rights to privacy can be discouraging.

It is our client’s responsibility to make sure they’re not in a situation that could be incriminating. Partner companies and clientele of our customers could be associated with suspicious characters. We are not responsible for our customer’s business relationships. When purchasing our systems or other similar products, you will be drawing attention to yourself or company. Surveillance agencies and local law enforcement may become leery of your business. Try to be transparent as possible in your daily activities, while avoiding questionable businesses and people.
